EACH PARTICIPANT WILL GET AN OPPORTUNITY TO PULL THE PIN, PRACTICE THE P.A.S.S. METHOD AND EXTINGUISH A REAL FIRE
Live demonstrations are conducted in a safe, self-contained training unit with a propane/diesel fuel fire source. ABC and/or BC (CO2) fire extinguishers are used for extinguishing fires. Live demonstrations must be performed outdoors away from hazardous/flammable materials and are weather dependent. This instruction is provided to familiarize participants with fire extinguishers and fire extinguishing techniques in the event of a fire emergency. Participants will become familiar with the P.A.S.S. technique and extinguish a small live fire at the end of the demonstration.
